LEGACY THE SCHOOL OF SPORT SCIENCES

The development of a charter school facility including associated football and baseball fields and basketball courts. The school buildings will ultimately be approximately 52,989 square feet and will have a capacity of 625 students. The Work will be conducted in the following three phases:
1. Phase I – Renovation of the existing office building to provide 20 traditional classrooms, two science labs, administrative offices, and a football field for a capacity of 550 students.*
2. Phase II – Construction of an outdoor baseball field – complete 90 days after CenterPoint Energy relocates or removes their easement and removes their power poles
3. Phase III – Construction of a 25,379 square foot building and sports facility that will consist of 2 adjacent basketball courts, a dining area, 4 additional classrooms and laboratory spaces, and additional restrooms. This addition will increase school capacity to 625 students.
